La Petite Robe. S|S 2017
She walks in beauty.
For the Spring/Summer 2017 season, Chiara Boni got inspired by the sophisticated look of the perfect ladies populating New York’s posh Upper East Side.
Their elegant, impeccable allure echoes in the collection which incorporates a certain polished Fifties’ feel with the brand’s signature modern, always chic yet practical attitude.
La Petite Robe iconic jersey fabric is crafted for hyper feminine dresses cut in fitted silhouettes and midi lengths, as well as romantic styles with tight bodices and flared tulle skirts, punctuated by charming embroideries.
Details take center stage in the collection. The focus is on the sleeves, coming in a range of variations – some are designed to resemble delicate petals or feature refined pleats, others reveal puffed shapes. Frocks are also embellished by white collars in jersey or tulle.
Prints enhance the sophisticated attitude of the lineup, which includes a feather pattern inspired by an original sketch coming from prestigious Fashion Research Italy Archive.
An ode to quintessential femininity, the romantic color palette spans from soft shades of powder and quartz pink, to fresh tones of blue. Hints of black add a graphic touch.
For the first time, Chiara Boni also introduces a collection of accessories, designed to reflect the most authentic spirit of the brand. Jersey and fishnet are worked for lady-like slingbacks and ballerinas embellished with tiny bows and embroideries. A rich jacquard fabric is also used for elegant clutches and small shoulder bags.
